Re: RIP Anthony Bourdain
couldn't remember the title! Yes must read.
I have a kinda fascination with 1970s-80s New York City and surrounding boroughs...a city that was kinda in disarray, disrepair from its golden age...a place and time where the art scene thrived. The book perspective is good during this period and Anthony B was there contributing it with food. Last edited by Chico23231; 06-08-2018 at 08:33 PM. |

Re: RIP Anthony Bourdain
Great book. Its the reason I got out of the business 20 years ago, which was his whole purpose of writing it. Always thought it was Pretty hypocritical of him ripping on the “tv star chefs” though since he sort of turned into one himself when given the opportunity. His poor wife and 11 year old daughter. |

Re: RIP Anthony Bourdain
I do, he wasn't one of those high and mighty chefs or TV cooking hosts, he seemed down to earth and like the same food I did and as I said before ...he was entertaining. He did shows on hot dogs and the Waffle House what is not to like?

Re: RIP Anthony Bourdain
Sad day. Great guy with a great show. Especially enjoyed his visit to Waffle House. The best.
RIP
