Over Moderation:
I know I often bring this up, but I've been very disappointed lately.
For example: http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locke...ictionary.html was locked for seemingly no reason. I know there are a lot of pro gibbs anti-Gibbs arguments going on, but this subject permeates through all facets of Redskins football. I don't find it fair for every thread that could turn into a Gibbs debate gets locked. That's a hilarious link that will probably get lost since it won't get bumped. As I've stated several times, I personally feel there should be more threads on more precise topics rather than 3 threads with 50 pages each, makes it too difficult to keep a conversation going on. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like there's been an overmoderation of threads. I know a lot of the mod staff hates the negative attitude, but I think there's good reason for many of us to be negative. Just my two cents, take it for what it's worth.

Re: Over Moderation:
1. Every thread that turns into a Gibbs debate does not get locked
2. Yes, this is being discussed in the other thread, but that's fine we can discuss it here 3. I said I thought the link was funny, and it is but I made the judgement that inevitably it would become just a duplicate thread. 4. More precise topics would be nice, but virtually impossible. To keep things precise we would have to lock many more threads, which would be "overmoderating" 5. This has nothing to do with "negative attitudes" The "Time for Joe to Step Down" thread is going strong. And there are negative thoughts all throughout the site 6. After discussing with a fellow moderator I will reluctantly reopen the thread. Under one condition-your responses can only be your own additions/new definitions to the Gibbs Dictionary. The instant it becomes another Love Gibbs vs. Hate Gibbs debate we lock it. We have enough of those threads going on. We want to keep the site clean and free from too much clutter.

Re: Over Moderation:
I thought it was locked for a perfectly good reason, and should have stayed locked. But that's just me.

Re: Over Moderation:
Maybe I just don't understand why it should have been locked. To me I thought it was just a thread that's kind of funny. Gibbs uses a lot of coach speak, just who he is. I guess I don't understand on what basis it was locked. I'd like to know what I'm missing here.

Re: Over Moderation:
While I do not cite any particular incident, I have noticed a intentional push towards..................???????????? moderation?? Some of these incidences seem rather trivial, and controlling
IMO, it is resulting in a more vanilla atmosphere in general, that is somewhat.....less interesting
