I think thats part of the reason I'm not a die hard football fan for any team on the college level. I have teams I pull for like Oregon, Florida, ND, Syracuse....but I mean when these guys lose just one game...their season was over...
Could you imagine waiting all freaking off season for the Redskins and then they lose to Miami and have no chance at the playoffs because they lost opening day?

Anything's possible...it's becoming rarer and rarer that a team from the Top 6 conferences makes it out undefeated. Now, Michigan does have 1 foot in the grave (I think I had better odds winning the lottery than App. St. blocking 2 FGs in the final 2 minutes), but their season isn't quite over...yet.
