Big problem with week 8 lineup
alright, it's week 8, i've got a few sure starters on the bench and a bunch of RB/WR slots with lots of second tier options and bad matchups :/. not looking good. QB, TE, WR #1/#2, K, DEF are set, but i need 1 more WR, 2 RBs, and a flex (WR/RB) for this week and i'm having trouble figuring it out. there are points on receptions (0.5) and return yards (1 for 20). all names link to yahoo profiles (stats etc).
Code:
M. Jones-Drew (Jac - RB) P @Phi 71 L. Washington (NYJ - RB) @Cle 35 D. McAllister (NO - RB) Bal 57 F. Gore (SF - RB) @Chi 64 K. Johnson (Car - WR) Dal 75 J. Cotchery (NYJ - WR) @Cle 66 D. Gabriel (NE - WR) @Min 40 E. Parker (SD - WR) StL 38 Locks: R. Grossman (Chi - QB) SF 67 T. Owens (Dal - WR) @Car 58 P. Burress (NYG - WR) TB 53 K. Winslow (Cle - TE) Q NYJ 58 A. Vinatieri (Ind - K) Q @Den 50 Baltimore (Bal - DEF) @NO 105 Not really considering: C. Pennington (NYJ - QB) P @Cle 64 De. Clark (Chi - TE) SF 38 Bye: C. Portis (Was - RB) Bye 73 W. Welker (Mia - WR) Q Bye 85 M. Furrey (Det - WR) Bye 74 right now i'm leaning towards jones-drew (RB), washington (RB), keshawn (WR), and mcalister (W/R) with a terrible matchup. any thoughts? |

Re: Big problem with week 8 lineup
oh yeah, going up against LT, westbrook, and gates, so it might not matter.

Re: Big problem with week 8 lineup
I'd start Cotchery over Johnson, but you're on track with the RBs.

Re: Big problem with week 8 lineup
I'd start:
Washington -- looks good so far, and they play CLE McAllister -- didn't BAL get run over just before their bye? Cotchery -- decent matchup, decent QB
