Tag your it

I was reading that Seahawks are going to tag Matt Hasselbeck instead of Shaun Alexander. If I was GM I don't think I could let a player like Alexander go. Hasselbeck didn't have what we call a good year last year. So if you were the GM of the Seahawks who would slap the tag with. Just a little something to get your mind off the Skins for a bit.

Re: Tag your it

QBs are harder to find than RBs. Enough said. The only thought was whether Hasselbeck is worth Franchise Player type money

Re: Tag your it

I disagree with the Hasselbeck move. Shaun Alexander is a beast of a running back and you can't let someone as good and as young as him go. Hasselbeck is older plus with the season he had last year it wouldn't be that hard to find a solid replacement for him. Plus there is know way that he is not worth top 5 QB money, at least if you tag Alexander he is worth it.

Re: Tag your it

Re: Tag your it

Sounds like Hasselbeck has agreed to a deal. Maybe the Seahawks can have their cake and eat it too.
