Re: Mich. stunned by App. State 34-32
Michigan had it coming, the most disrespectful fans I have ever been with. Before each game in the Big House they announce the opposing team starting lineup and the crowd pipes up "Who cares" after every name is mentioned. I guess the crowd really was ripping into the Appy St. team before the game began and even a little after it began. It was great to see a bunch of prime donas with an absolute look of shock after it ended. Notre Dame sucks. THe thing is these HS guys don't give a damn about their education and want to go where it is warm, the chicks are hot, etc. The powers in the rust belt are starting to fade as people start moving down south for more economic reasons and do not want to come up to freeze their asses off anymore even to go to college. The only decent team left of the old powers in the north is Penn St and once Joe Pa goes they will start to decline also as the tradition declines with his leaving.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Michigan fans are rather tame to be honest and take their football for granted. |

Re: Mich. stunned by App. State 34-32
Honestly App state and Grand valley state are some powerhouses that I think could probably either hang with or beat the likes of these d1 teams...
And BTW someone mentioned forgetting about that loss... HOW in the hell do you forget about losing to a 1-aa school?!? |

Apparently App. State used quite a bit of good ol' Counter Trey in the game. Skins got props by the announcers.

Re: Mich. stunned by App. State 34-32
why don't the skins run this now? you need good pulling lineman, and between Kendall, and Randy Thomas, they are 2 of the better pulling guards in the league

Re: Mich. stunned by App. State 34-32
It's awesome seeing a huge upset like this. The stars were aligned for the boys from Boone, NC. Talk about setting the table...however, as the moob pointed out earlier, a combination of Michigan losing players, and App. State being one of the top Division 1-AA (Won the title in '05, runner-up in '06), something had to give.
However, now they have a bullseye on their backs, as anyone they play this season will want to be the David that slays the David that slayed Goliath.
