Very well could be a good backup plan if a deal with Kearse falls through.

Wiley is a good guy and a smart guy. (He graduated from Columbia so he can't be dumb!) He has never quite lived up to his early hype and he has had some nagging injuries during his career.
I don't think he is "the answer" for the Skins, but he is head and shoulders better than anything they had on the roster last year.

I'd much rather have Wiley and maybe Robaire Smith or Rod Coleman than Kearse at this point (unless Jevon is willing to play for the veteran's minimum ... HA HA HA HA!!!).

You know, Marcellus Wiley replaced Bruce Smith in Buffalo. So if we sign him, it would be the second time in his career that he has had that pleasure!

I just don't know how we will afford Kearse with already signing Brunell and Portis to very lucrative deals.
