Jason Wright is leaving
https://x.com/NickiJhabvala/status/1813991037632753687
He's moving to a senior adviser role and should be gone by the end of the season. I know a lot of people disliked him but other than the name change and the ST21 debacle I felt like he did a solid job handling all the other Snyder scandals. Maybe he was just meant to be a transition hire to get the team through to new ownership.

Re: Jason Wright is leaving
I wish him well. He seemed like yet another good guy Snyder hired to be a scapegoat and had the impossible task of working under the worst NFL owner ever.

Re: Jason Wright is leaving
I don't even want to know or care who the team president is running the business side of things. Part of Ashburn syndrome has been fans being way too wrapped up in the likes of Brian Lafemina and Jason Wright.

And whoever takes on the job, I hope not hear their name unless it's about a new stadium.

Yes, we can stop grasping for signs of life. But the stadium project will be interesting to track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Jason Wright is leaving
I mean obviously he was used as a scapegoat to deflect blame away from Snyder. Job well done on his part.

How we get so worked up in a position that has nothing to do with football ops is beyond me. People here act like he acted maliciously or something when that obviously wasn't the case. Looking forward to the day we don't care what the team president's name is.

With good direction from ownership, the president should become invisible to fans. Looking forward to that too. But I reserve the right to get worked up over the team name, the location and financing of the stadium, the “fan experience,” the uni colors and style, and how retired and deceased Redskin stars are treated by the organization. I hope that’s okay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Jason Wright is leaving
This doesn't surprise me at all. Honestly, even a little surprised he's here for this year. All of Snyder's guys were eventually going to be gone. Wright wasn't my fav but wish him all the best.
