Re: Colts pregame thread
I swear I'm not a secret NFL sales representative, but the GamePass really is a great product... I probably wouldn't have paid for it if football was on TV here (it's starting to be BTW) but now that I have it I'm not going back.

Re: Colts pregame thread
I think they are referring to our interior line.

Re: Colts pregame thread
I think this week we'll take a look at and see how good our edge rushers can be with the interior push we are getting from The Alabama Wall. Like many have said, in last week's game, the focus of the defense was to limit Johnson so the pass rush from the edge may not have been this aggressive. Different story this week with a team that is pass heavy with an average running game.

Also, good start last week for Anderson, Flossin, and McPhee in terms of rushing the passer...this week expect Preston and Kerrigan to get in the mix |

Re: Colts pregame thread
Colts were unimpressive in loss,I didnt think the Bengals were going to be that good this year but they looked good against Baltimore also{but Mixon is out now}
This should be a win for us{especially if Mack is out again}but It scares me when all the forecasters are jumping on our bandwagon now saying how good we are. From last weeks performances this should be a 100 yard game for AP and maybe CT too,so we will see

Both Reed and Thompson are elite players when it comes to being pass catchers, and Crowder has the experience that Docston doesn't. I'd put Doctson as the 4th or 5th best receiving option. I hope he becomes the player he was chosen to be, but I just see too many receivers ahead of him that have more experience and are producing more than him. As long as this happens, I'm not going to be too concerned about him.

Serious question though? If Doctson didn't put up big stats but consistently took the opposing team's #1 corner out of the game every week would that matter? Meaning, if every else put up better stats but it was Doctson getting matched up with the best corners every week (not every play but most of the game) and taking them out of the game would that not be a positive impact? Ya'll act like we need Doctson to put up 1400/10 td's to be successful. The goal is to win games. He makes 5 impact plays a game (first down's, td's, a big downfield block to spring someone for a td) and I'm good. Not even 5 for me, give me several (3+) clutch plays that impact the game and I'm good. |

Re: Colts pregame thread
Starting WR expectations is the contribute at some level...we just need this to happen. I honestly would believe it would elevate the unit as a top 10 offense.

Re: Colts pregame thread
One of the NFLNetwork """analyst""" just picked us as her survivor pool pick.
Not that we should care. But I'll admit part of me is glad that this team is finally getting a little bit of respect!

Re: Colts pregame thread
When is that signature game going to happen for Doc? If he could start having some #1 wr production can you imagine how much that would make the offense much better? Doc also doesn't demand the ball like some wr's do. He seems to have a quiet timid personality. If you want to be a great player you have to be somewhat selfish and demand the ball. I just don't see that.
