World Cup

Do any of you actually know (or are interested in) that the U.S. Team is in the Final Game of the Football World Cup in Japan?

Re: World Cup

I didn't even know they played football in Japan. I sure hope America can win. If we start losing at Football/Gridiron on a global level like we now do basket ball what will we have left?

Adu has been unstoppable. Every goal scored, he had something to do with it. He's all over the place.

When is the final?

Re: World Cup

The U-20 Soccer World Cup is in Canada.

TheGuy... is referring to the IFAF World Cup (American Football) which only consists of six teams.

Re: World Cup

Actually the Under 20 world cup is in Canada. This is the best under 20 team we have ever had for sure. They have played well, but they just squeaked by a very physical Uruguay team. It was a pretty ruff game, Uruguay hit a lot of posts. That was the first game of the knock out stage of 16. The US plays Austria next, tomorrow at 2:00 eastern. So they have gotten to the final eight.

Its was nice to see the US win the Gold cup over Mexico. Being from New Mexico, US vs, Mex is a big deal.

The "b" team that the US sent to the Copa America got there ass whipped, while Mex B team almost got to the final. The finals are on Sunday, and its Arg vs. Brazil. Arg is clearly playing the best soccer right now and with the kid Messi, will be hard to beat. Mark my words Messi will the next great one.

Its sad that ESPN only show the Womens national team. So u nless you have Uni vision and others you really have no hope of seeing US men play. You can watch the Copa America final online here

The Asia cup is actually going on right now. Youll have to use pp stream or something to see them. I think the games come on about 6 am and 8am eastern.

I think this may have been the first unintentional thread-jacking.

Re: World Cup

The IFAF has gotten absolutely zero press here in the US.
