Dang there goes the season. Now would be a great time to fire Vinny and start looking for a new coach.

Re: Heyer may be out this week

man, I can not even remember the last time our offense line was this far down in depth. A few years ago we had significant injuries, playing Cory Raymer and I believe even Raymer got hurt, but man, this is down right ridiculous.

This should be the icing on the cake to get a few O-Linemen in this coming up draft

Yup. In the same game in which Sean Taylor intercepted Brett Favre twice and Santana Moss played his worst game in a Redskins uniform, our offensive line was decimated by injuries. Casey Rabach went down and Raymer was pressed into duty. Then, Stephon Heyer went down after getting abused by Aaron Kampman. Then, Todd Wade went down after getting abused by none other than Aaron Kampman. Then, Wade went down and the coaches had to move Lorenzo Alexander to RT. That was one ugly game.

Losing Stephon Heyer is going to hurt. I can't believe a practice squad tackle is going to go up against Justin Tuck. Our line is going to get manhandled.

I think they're trying really hard to see what MW has at guard since he's played so well. With the season basically done, they want to leave him there.

Am I the only one who thinks having Stephon Heyer hurts?

Re: Heyer may be out this week

It is starting to get a little comical how beset by injuries the offensive line has been...combined with the fact that the reserves wouldn't be on practice squads anywhere else, it is easy to see why the team has faltered

Everyone has practice squads...how are you sure that our players on our practice squad wouldn't be on any other teams' practice squad? And that's the only reason this team faltered? Newsflash, one of the reason we faltered got fired a couple of days ago.

While this team has had terrible management that have contributed to its demised, the injuries our team has had would decimate many teams in the league.

You know what maybe Heyer is a career back up but he has reached beyond expectations as a undrafted free agent. He can at the very least provide solid back up play when we draft oline this coming draft. If he beats out his competitor than he earns the right to start.

Not at all. He is horrible. I am not thrilled about having big Mike move from guard but as long as he doesn't have 3 false starts he is an improvement. Getting beat for a sack isn't worth criticism because Heyer does that just as well as anyone else, too.

Lets hope, If Campbell isn't resigned then I'm sure our new Coach will want his own QB.
