FED Court of Appeals Rules against Govt in MLB Steroid case

http://dcprosportsreport.com/2009/08/federal-appeals-court-bars-feds-from-using-baseball-steroid-tests.html

Quote:
The 9th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals has slammed the US Department of Justice and barred the Federal government from using tests and urine samples from 2003. The decision could likely cutoff any further federal government investigation or activity in major league baseball and steroids, unless there is an appeal tot he United States Supreme Court.

Yes...I can't think of too many things our gov't is pursuing that are less important to the welfare of our society.

Re: FED Court of Appeals Rules against Govt in MLB Steroid case

pretty interesting stuff. i didnt read the court opinion yet b/c that would feel like doing work at work (the bosses had to fly out emergency - sweet!).

my hunch is its on the federal judge who signed off on the warrants lacking PC. ive worked closely with judges, undercovers, etc and had to read and review alot of warrants to see if PC exists. EVERY SINGLE WARRANT I REVIEWED WAS GRANTED. they are almost rubber stamped now a days from what ive seen.

I figured this was getting moved up because of Mannyland retiring instead of taking his lumps (100 game suspension) from another failed drug test.
