Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
Hopefully Robinson will play, I think we will need him to wear down the Steelers defense.

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
Little concerned about Seibert. Not having a kicker good to go has proved a real problem for teams this season. I hope he's OK and that they're just being cautious.

Yes agree. He's been solid so far. Definitely want him healthy especially with 2 tough games looming.

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
He was rubbing that hip during the last game. He was able to finish the game and kick still, so that is a good sign. Hopefully he'll be able to go!! He has been terrific!!

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
For this late in the season that is a very reasonable injury report. Let's hope their good fortune continues.

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
Is this the 'de facto' pregame thread?
It looks like Pittsburgh is ranked #9 for total defense. On paper, they appear to be the best defense we will have played so far. As long as we have a plan for TJ Watt, I still think this offense will be able to move the ball on them. The question will be: Can we capitalize in the Red Zone with TDs instead of FGs? If so, this should be a big fat W. While I would love to have BRob and Lattimore out there, if another four days of rest and treatment will have them closer to 100% for the PHI game, then I would rather them not play on Sunday and risk further aggravation of their injuries with a short week coming. Thursday's game is much more important, and honestly, I think we can beat Russ & the Steelers without them. |

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
This Steelers game is gunna be a hard one to win. Their coach is great, they dont make many mistakes, they are coming off a bye which they have won like 7 straight, their defense is quite good, they have a ton of experience beating the ravens, who we are similar to, in particular the last two with 11 sacks. They have a solid running game and our run defense has issues. These 2 teams are quite similar suprise teams overperforming their talent level and winning against non playoff teams almost exclusively at this point. This shows really solid coaching for both teams. Neither team will be flat, but Pittsburgh has a major week off advantage and has more experience beating a similar style qb than anyone we have faced. Our CBs are not great, no way Lattimore plays imo. Their red zone d is really good and we have issues getting 7. I really believe the winner of this game is the legit team and the loser will be borderline playoff contender. This game is a massive indicator. It looks like a slugfest of fg vs td. I just dont know who gets the tds. In my mind its kinda like a midseason tier 2 Superbowl. They will run a lot. The only reason I see we are favored is due to one thing, Jayden Daniels. He is the wild card as he can hit a single play that turns a long field goal to a TD. This looks like a 24-21 game to me. I hope we somehow get the 24 and not vice versa. Any turnover in this game will probably win it, especially if we can get one

Re: Injury report Pittsburgh
Lattimore will be a "no go" on Sunday. I was hoping he could go as I wanted to see how he'd fare with the Steelers' wideouts. Hopefully, he's ready next Thursday.
