Ravens Post Game Chat

In my opinion, this loss will help the team grow.

JD continues to impress against a top ranked D.
[S]No one was injured. [/S] hopefully Allen is OK.
We hung with a playoff team.

Obviously we have issue with talent.
Defense giving up two 90+ yard drives is embarrassing.

No pass rush leaves these corners out to dry.
BSJ was a liability out there.

Did you hear something about Jonathan Allen already? I thought he was getting an MRI tomorrow.

We can win our division and possibly make a little noise in the playoffs. A solid upgrade on D, especially the secondary, and the sky is the limit. In August we would have killed for 4-2. Here we are. 5-2 would be even better.

Baltimore is simply better than us right now. Our secondary needs upgraded. Way too many wide open guys. We need a #1 corner badly. View it as the #1 priority in offseason and will help defense a ton. Jayden still played well and we missed Brian Robinson also. A lot to take from this loss that we can hang with a legitimate SB contender at their house with a 2x mvp.

One thing I will say right now, with JD we have a chance to win every single week. Haven't been able to say that for a long time.

I was at the High school game planning for our next weeks opponent but I saw some here and there on my phone.

The Ravens run game is lethal man, they will be a SB contender for sure.

Daniels had a damn good game overall. I still feel like we lack a legit WR2.

Eckler played good, we missed BROB

Oh well, 4-2 is still a good start

Well in all likelihood we won't be able to get the solid upgrade for defense. We have a good shot at the playoffs but the D may sink those chances and certainly the Skins won't be able to go far in the playoffs.

Re: Ravens Post Game Chat

We got to see what a top-notch team looks like. Lamar basically played a perfect game. Even the 1 pick was just bad luck. Wasn't a terrible read or throw. But we hung in there. We lose that game by 20+ last season.

We're in the next tier down. I'd say somewhere in that 6-12 range. And what a fantastic place to be already. Such a breath of fresh air. Jayden is the man.

Re: Ravens Post Game Chat

Washington allowed a season-high 13 plays that gained 15 or more yards vs. the Ravens. On those plays, Baltimore gained 311 yards.

- John Keim

Though to beat anyone when you allow this, especially a team with a pretty good defense.

4-2 is better than expected as is the offense, but you get the feeling the offense has to score on most possessions to have a chance against almost every team.

I still can't figure out why Quinn didn't do an onside kick after the FG in the 4th. The defense didn't stop the Ravens all game so that would've been your best chance of stealing a W.

Once I heard pec injury, I figured he probably would be out for the season. Those are either healthy or torn. Just doesn't really seem to be any middle ground with pecs. Really sucks for him if that's the case. We finally don't suck, and he's done for the season after 6 games.
