A couple of things

Just a FYI for you guys, I recently installed a modification that momentarily shuts down the board's search function when server loads get too high. The search function is great, but it's very server intensive. Again, just a FYI so you know what's up. Hopefully this will help cut down on the 'server busy' message by not letting the server loads get too crazy.

Also, what do you guys think of the auction ads that appear at the underneath the last post in threads? Are they annoying, do you like seeing them? Just looking for some general feedback.

thanks

Ads are fine. Dmek, the new posts feature is now on the left side of the home page.

The ads in general are fine... the only problem is alot of time I have noticed they have knock off M&N or Player of the Century jerseys. Anyway you can still have the Ebay ads but block the fake stuff?

I wish that was possible, believe me I hate the knockoff crap too.

Re: A couple of things

I like the ads, that way we constantly have Skins stuff at our disposal. I mean where else can you stay up on Skins memorabilia while reading about the hottest women in american (I voted for Salma Hayek by the way) ? HERE THAT'S WHERE!!!!!

But yeah the auction ads at the bottom are cool.

Re: A couple of things

Being VIP cuts the ads, so not a problem for me. But the first change explains that. I have been trying to search for my posts and that message keeps coming up.

Re: A couple of things

The server still seems to be having tons of problems. I still keep getting that message.

I guess I am a technological dunce, cause I have not seen any ads.
