The Warpath - site question

Last night I was trying to get on the Warpath and I got a message that basically said something along the lines of "this site has been purchased by the Washington Redskins and has been closed down". When I saw this the first thought that came to mind was either this was a hacker or Dan Synder put down a huge offer with the intention that he was going to close it down because he didn't wan't people criticizing him or the organization due to its significant internet presence. So I shut down the computer last night and when I went on today it was if nothing happend and everyone can post.

Can any of the site administrators give some clarification on what happened? Also if it is owned by Synder is the site going to restrict the content more?

It's real. I read about it in the Washington Post Online. Snyder bought up the .007% of the Redskins themed information outlets that he doesn't already own, and stated that "plans were in place to bring them into the Redskins media fold", whatever the hell that means...

Re: The Warpath - site question

I had the message about the site being bought up for about 45 minutes, it only took about 5 minutes before someone ran to ES asking what happened.

Then I changed the message to say your account has been banned for 3 months.

I had several emails this morning asking why they were banned.

Actually, the truth is Snyder bought us to trade us. We're heading to Chicago along with LeMar Marshall and the #6 pick. We'll be TheBearTrap.net by the end of the week
