I did start Pit Pirate BBQ this year
Hey guys just to catch up a little I did start that BBQ company I was talking about before. It's called Pit Pirate BBQ, LLC and I have [2] partners and own 60% of the business. We are just getting all the legal stuff done but I am already booking BBQ gigs left and right. In fact I booked on in June for a Wash. DC Marina for over 350 people! Wow a $9,000.00 contract. Woohoo! To put that into perspective I'll be cooking over 120 racks of ribs and 400 pieces of chicken. lol
Here is our New Logo. We have [3] Custom Pits like this on order and should take delivery of [2] of them in a couple weeks. One will have this 37" Open Pit Grill on the front too. Hehehehehe! The back of one of my partner's boat. This will be a very busy year but I am one BLESSED guy and thankful for all that has been given me. peace and BBQ grease guys!!! mike Personal Note: My son Elijah is almost 3/4 of the way through his Chemo from his cancer coming back. We shaved heads together at the beginning and I am keeping mine shaved till we get through this all. He is a little beat up but hanging in there. He's still going to classes full time through this all down at VCU.

Re: I did start Pit Pirate BBQ this year
Congratulations and good luck on your new business venture. Judging by your BBQ pics, you should have no trouble satisfying the masses.
Your son is a strong person for his perseverance, and I wish him a speedy and full recovery. God bless!

Re: I did start Pit Pirate BBQ this year
I didn't think about raising money this time bro just raising Elijah's spirits. We actually had about 10 of his and my friends all do it at the same time. He and I are the only ones still bald.

Re: I did start Pit Pirate BBQ this year
Congrats and best wishes on the bbq business. If I run across anyone who has some catering needs I'll be sure to push them your way. Always willing to help out a fellow Skins fan...
Glad to hear your son is almost done with chemo, I know it must be a tough time for him, you, and your entire family so thanks for sharing. I join in the wishes for your son to have a quick and full recovery. I'll be looking for you at Fedex Field soon. Keep on grilling! |
