Around the NFL - Week 7

Jets finalizing trade for Raiders WR Davante Adams, sources say

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ms-sources-say

NFL Week 7 Power Rankings 2024: How all 32 teams stack up (We're No. 9, dropped 2 spots from 7 this week for ESPN rankings)

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...lesson-learned

Week 6 ranking: 7

Lesson learned: Rookie QB Jayden Daniels is legit.

A franchise that has sought an answer at quarterback for decades can finally breathe easy. It's not just that Daniels ranks third in QBR (73.6) after six games or that he has thrown for 1,404 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for an additional 322 and four scores. It's all about how he continues to develop because of the preparation he does during the week, and how he's developing a higher level of chemistry with his receivers, notably Terry McLaurin. As coach Dan Quinn said following Sunday's loss to Baltimore, "There's a lot of belief in him." -- John Keim

Jerry getting into it with a radio host questioning his offseason moves:

Predictably.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 7

Jets plan is to fire Saleh and acquire Davante Adams. Got it. Last night was a tough loss. Rodgers played well. Think Rodgers knew they really could have used that victory falling to 2-4. The uphill climb just got tougher.

Eagles head coach yelling at fans, Jerry yelling at radio talk show host and not taken proper accountability for the roster, and the Giants being the Giants?

Damn feels good to sit at top look at all these losers below us. Fuck’em

Damien Woody on ESPN yesterday went off on Sirianni. Called him a clown multiple times and was extremely critical of him getting into with fans. It was great commentary.

This is my take as well. I think the Boys are done but with the WRs returning I would not count the Eagles out. But right now we are the class of the division, what a turnaround.

I still have the Eagles ahead of us. I think they have a better chance of turning around on offense than we do on defense, solely based on personnel. I hope I'm wrong. Still don't play them all the way until November 14th. Prime Time game on Thursday night (at Philly). That would be a real fun one to win.

Andrew Thomas (NYG LT) out with a lis franc injury. Any hope they had of competing just went out the window.
