Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition

I'll lead with this:

Andre Johnson ripping the Texans a new asshole on Twitter. You love to see it. Anybody care to have a discussion about Jack Easterby? He seems to be the Texans version of Vinny Cerrato. Mans was basically a preacher and now he's running football ops for the Texans.

Seahawks let Brian Schottenheimer walk. Didn't see that coming, although after reading up on it it doesn't seem that surprising because the Seahawks offense kinda fell off in the second half of the season.

Re: Around the NFL: Divisional Round edition

Arguably the Seahawks O has dropped off because they haven't invested in their OL. Just look at the Rams game; Wilson does well on the move, but not when that's virtually every oass play. But if play calling isn't mitigating that then I guess the OC comes under the spotlight.

LOL

Bill B. is a cold-hearted son of a bitch.

Gronk says he retired a couple years ago because Belichick was trying to trade him to the Lions.

Albert Breer
Sources: the Jaguars and ex-Ohio State and Florida coach Urban Meyer are working out a deal to make Meyer the team's HC. Much of the negotiation has been over facilities upgrades and staffing. Meyer's gotten assurances in those areas.

Talks have been ongoing for over a month.

I'm a little surprised they didn't go after an NFL coordinator like Bieniemy, Smith, Martindale, Saleh, etc. Urban Meyer has already quit on his teams twice. The Jags could have done much better in my opinion. He was bound to get an NFL job if he wanted one, but I too don't see it working out well. We'll see.

How is his health? Didn't he retire from Ohio State for health reasons?
