Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I'm more interested in knowing who the other 16 non QBs were that they had in this week.

👆🏻Schefter says Jayden Daniels doesn’t want to come to DC in above article.
Trade down for a king’s ransom??

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I heard Schefter walked this back a lil bit.
But you gotta think this with the agent putting out his tweet previously if there isn’t something too it. Noise but there are a lot teams who would want to cause a lil havoc to get Daniels. At the sametime, this is your modern day athlete who wants to have more say in where they play across all sports. No doubt about it

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
And regardless of what you think you know, Daniels to DC has never been a done deal.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Absolutely not! On the other hand, he likes Minnesota and I would like to have their two first round picks plus more. No, f Daniels, we can just take Maye instead of him at #2. Never mind, I have no idea what to do.

There is some history here. Go look for the video of his ASU teammates cleaning out his locker when he transferred. They didn’t mince words about their feelings. https://www.tmz.com/watch/2022-02-18...ocker-1366269/ Last edited by ArizonaSkinFan; 04-20-2024 at 11:50 AM. Reason: Adding text |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I mean, that's a bit of a flag, but not sure it's consequental. I'd be happier if they weren't being silly about it though.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Please just take Maye.
He's the better prospect anyway.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
It does seem that many evaluators think Maye has the higher ceiling. If that is actually the case, then I hope he's the pick.
I'm not going to allow myself to be mad at the selection though, whoever it turns out to be. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I will be happy with either selection but strongly prefer Daniels. All this talk is nonsense IMO. If he really did not want to play here to the point where it would be an issue he would have spoken up like Elway by now. I see no chance he forces a trade if he is the pick. As for his teammates in Arizona it was clear they were upset with him because he chose to leave. This is not a Jeff George situation, I see no concerning red flags other than his mother and that will not happen here.

We lose out on a low 3rd rounder equivalent in the first deal then turn right around and give up a mid 2d value to get to pick #3. It would be like offering the Pats #2, and #40 to get #3. |
