If you pour an ipa/dips and it looks like a light beer, you’ve been cheated. Should be a copper color. Now a pale ale, I like them light...as they should be.

Re: Let's talk good beer
Local craft store had surprise 3 Floyds in stock, one time only. They ran out of zombiedust before I got there. dont think they put a limit so im guessing some asshole just bought out whatever they had
lazer snake ipa, barbarian haze pale, alpha king pale and dreadnaught dipa next level beers and not overly expensive, like $12 to $16 for each. singelcut, cushwa etc are starting to charge $18 plus for their 4 packs Maryland has great beers but I do wish we got at least one of the big guys from RR, 3 floyds, toppling, lawsons, tree house, hill farmstead |

Coors Light. Every once in a while, you just need something nice and simple (more simple than nice).

No doubt. Sometimes that (or a PBR) nearly frozen is the SHIT.

https://www.3floyds.com/distribution/ 2021>2020 edit - 3 floyds was smart, the beer i bought was like a week old. Surly dumped a ton of palletes on Perfect Pour about 6 months ago but the pale ale was like 9 months old at that time and its just sitting there for months later growing dust Last edited by SunnySide; 03-11-2021 at 12:15 PM. |

Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet Double IPA
1st time having it as I type this. It's 8% and doesn't taste like it. These are dangerously good.

Re: Let's talk good beer
Had my first heady topper this past weekend. Extremely pricey, but tastes like it.

All Sierra Nevadas knock me on my ass. Lol. They really are one of the original dank beers. I must have gotten completely fucked up on the original ones a long time ago and now I am afraid of them and their stronger brethren. The sight of one actually makes me dizzy. Lol |

I bought a 12-pack variety pack. Had 3 of each kind, with that 8%er being the strongest. 12 of those and you might end up in the hospital. The original is still the best. But breweries are all just pumping out so much variety nowadays.

Re: Let's talk good beer
Last time I had SOCO I woke up in a hospital room with huge cuts all over my body. There was a straight jacket by my bed and I grabbed it, opened my door and threw it down the hall and started to yell 'Im not fucking cra .." and as the words were coming out of my mouth, I noticed there was a cop in a chair next to my door .. and I said to myself "ahhh crap maybe I am".
Next day I learned I was running around naked fighting cops with a broom stick. Then they handcuffed and beat me up pretty good. I managed to escape for a moment and started running and just fell chest first down a flight of concrete stairs with my hands cuffed behind my back. Didnt do any jail time. |
