Wow...you had Butler? Quake you should be up there with Dickie V, Digger and Bilias. good stuff

My Final Four was...Notre Dame, OSU, Florida and UConn. Cant believe I bought into the Big East hype and went with ND. I mean come'on ND final four basketball? I need my head examined.

GM tough loss last night...thats how the tourney rolls sometimes. I think Florida gonna be top five next year. That small point guard missed 3 huge shots at the end of reg and the ot period. tough to watch.

Side note on my hatred of J Bilias, he actually sounded professional and like he knew what he was talking bout after the games last night. Got some respect back for the guy.

I only picked Butler because I didn't trust anyone in their bracket (good choice) and their performance last year. They only lost Gordon Heyward. I have them losing the title game though.

VCU just peeled off a 17-4 run. Wow. They're the real deal.

I disagree. The hotter team won today, not the better team. But that doesn't diminish the accomplishment. Congrats to VCU! Cinderella lives on.

I put Quake up their with Hasselbeck's kid

Matt Hasselbeck’s five-year old son Henry is a sports savant | ProFootballTalk

Quote:
Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times notes that Matt Hasselbeck’s five-year old son currently has the 103rd best NCAA tournament bracket entry on ESPN.com. Out of 5.9 million entries.

Henry’s method of picking teams: He usually picks the mascot he likes better.

Meanwhile, his dad isn’t even in the top half of all entries. Clearly Henry’s prediction genes didn’t come from his father’s side of the family.

Re: ***2010-2011 College Hoops Thread***

I'll admit, I was a big hater on VCU making the tourney, and I vocalized that on this thread. I'm also a Florida Gator. Man I wish we had pulled out that game in OT yesterday. Florida-VCU would have been really cool.

I agree he shouldn't bring it up again and again, but its true. That doesn't take away from what vcu has done. But based on credentials a Colorado or VT were more deserving. How can that be argued? Look at vcu's losses and their tourney play.

Also, its likely that those teams wouldn't have made it as far as vcu did but again doesn't mean they're less deserving based on rank. That's what ranking is.
