Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
You're not wrong. As much as everyone hated Dan, a lot of them sure have his patience. 🤷

So we have a very early night watching day 1 of the draft And a late night draft party on Friday!
edit: I actually think we will take some of those day two picks and trade up back into mid to late day one Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I like the idea of trading back up for a T in round 1 or getting more picks in 2 & 3 to grab 2 of them, a CB and a TE. I don't like the idea of moving up to #1.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
We seriously need help on our OL beyond C, which we secured in FA. It was a huge reason to Howell's lack of progression.

2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

Come on man. Sam Darnold? I would want him far away from the field too. Not as far as Mariota but far. I am not passing on this draft class for Sam Darnold. If anything we trade back into the first and grab an OT. If not we get him on day two. Five picks and still alot of areas of need , TE, WR, OT x 2, G, CB, Edge, FS. All needs. Some more than others but all needs. It is amazing what Rivera did to this roster that we could go get 8-10 new starters and still have so many areas of need. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
would you trade picks 35, 40 and a 5th to jump way up if one of the 3 top tackles falls below 10 overall?

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Yep I have had enough of reading articles and opinions comparing those guys, I will leave it to the FO to find the right one. I am far more interested in what is going to happen with the 2nd and 3rd rounders, much more intrigue and so many options, this draft is going to be fun.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Good read on CW negatives. Watched some of the film and agree with the points here. No fuckin thanks. Please no.
https://firstroundmock.com/2024/01/f...ams-is-a-bust/ I'm literally not sure I saw him look off a single defender. Locks on way too much... he's an athlete with an arm. That's it. Again, please no.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
While we're getting crazy, why not just trade next year's 1st, along with this year's #40 and #78 and jump into the top 10 and take the top Tackle?

The #4 pick is worth 491. The #9 pick is worth 387 points. But you are right, it's very possible a top tackle is there between 10-15. The last mock draft I saw had OTs going at 7, 10, and 14 with my favorite tackle, Olu Fashanu, going at 14. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
No way I would support trading next year's first. This is a deep tackle draft, there is no reason to trade that much to be able to land a good one.
