Re: Coronavirus (political)
Yeah and the staunch Trumpers out there should really get some self awareness when it comes to shitting on Cuomo today. They're both big time creeps.

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Oh because of this.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ When Texas or Florida start having above average deaths for their infection rate and their population size then I will. DeSantis policy from the beginning was to protect the most vulnerable populations while keeping his State's economy running. That has been and remains largely a success. Even given the expanded infection rate the mortality rate with those infected remains below average. Rates for those infected dying in those two states are about the same as those in California the differences is those two states did not shut their economies down. This also shows that lock-downs won't stop or even slow the spread of the virus. The left want DeSantis to implement the lock down policies that failed in their states and are bit infuriated that he's not (which highlights their failure). What is failing in Florida and Texas is vaccinations which you can't blame Desantis for (You can blame Trump and his anti vax idiot followers though). |

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Sure, neither is a win. ... but then don't tell me New York has had an effective strategy "overall" after repeatedly blasting Florida's response. Even with the latest surge and a larger at risk population, Florida will end up with a lower death total both in raw numbers and per capita.
... I mean, I just glanced at the thread and you're shitting all over DeSantis. I don't give a flying fuck about him, but your intellectual dishonesty in advancing your chosen narrative is nothing new to this whole debate. You aren't the first and won't be the last to just ignore inconvenient facts that don't support whatever point you are trying to make - whether it's insulting the "dumbs" or claiming vaccines kill more than covid. The gaslighting, intentional ignorance, intolerance, and just plain tribalism involved from both sides is exhausting.

Re: Coronavirus (political)
I'm a Republican - see my posts. Romney is a Republican, McConnel is a Republican, Cheney is a Republican, etc.etc. etc. As a percentage I'd say just as few Dems call out Cuomo as Reps call out Trump.
