LOL, horseshit! . I get it's your opinion and yes you are entitled to it but it is BS!. See I have no problem with the second amendment but no not everyone should own a gun there should be requirements age for one ,insurance for another ,required training and license's, permits etc for starters. .No need for civilians to own military weapons ....from anywhere. Strange how when we want to we listen to what a bunch of old white men said a few hundred years ago. The same guys who said you could own blacks and they and women had no say in the way this Country should work. Did we listen to that?

Re: Fresh Start Political Thread
So I was listening to Laura Coates (Sirius) and she had someone on from the left that thinks Schumer really screwed up with his speech last night - so much so that it will force 1 of the following to happen;: The Dems pass the debt ceiling increase in December with reconciliation, the Dems abandon their new spending bill entirely (then Republicans join in the debt ceiling increase), or the US goes into default. He thinks the last is most likely.
It was a pretty stupid move to kick the chair out from under the Republicans that agreed to the extension (Manchin didn't openly call Schumer an imbecile but from his reaction to the speech it was as plain as day that is what he was thinking). https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=uxbndlbing |

Re: Fresh Start Political Thread
All these political charades. Let me quickly sum up what’s gonna happen before years end…
1. The debt ceiling will get raised because neither side is gonna default and McConnell action to extend deadline makes it clear 2. Bipartisan infrastructure bill will get finally done 3. And because the Dems hold a majority, reconciliation bill will get done with everyone getting a lil of what they want. That number probably will come in..best guess 2.1 trillion.

Re: Fresh Start Political Thread
Biden not taking any questions from the press for the last 2 months whenever he speaks just goes to show you what a complete embarrassment he is to his own administration. His polls numbers have sunk so low they won’t even let him answer to an overt Democratic friendly institution.

Re: Fresh Start Political Thread
I miss the days of when you really didn't know anyone's politics and you really didn't care to know. Now it's shoved down our throats 24/7 and most of it is manufactured drama to keep the public fired up and fearful to sell advertising.
