No. I just hate greedy assholes. I have no problem with people being rich, but when there are 10 marbles on the table and you want to grab them all and do less of the work, I have a huge problem with that. I always will. When these guys are willing to risk their future health for their money, then I'll respect them.

And I've watched Angel Hernandez ump baseball games... It was a three ring circus from start to finish, and I can't imagine the NFL isn't meeting secretly right now to try and figure out how to get out of the mess they've created without appearing to cave in and give the real refs everything they want. (which isn't much, it boils down to them not wanting to lose their already earned penchant plans, while being willing to let new hires not have penchants). Greedy nose-despite-face hubris on the part of the rich douche bags who happen to own the golden goose. Last edited by 44 goes 50 gut; 09-18-2012 at 10:25 AM. |

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
LOL! I had to share this with you guys. There is ONE NFL fan who must not know anything about the game, or is deaf, dumb, and blind. Got this from another discussion forum:
I've watched several games and, honestly, haven't missed the "real" refs at all. At least they aren't as bad as the NBA refs yet. I'll admit, I don't watch the NBA so I can't really comment on that part of his post, but if one pays any ounce of attention to the NFL, they can't honestly say these refs are no worse than the regulars.

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
honestly between the games i watched sunday and last night.... im disgusted... i'm going to hersey park next sunday with the gf, not just cuz she begged me to and sundays are the only days the free tix are good for, but because football is making me sick right now... i havent missed a redskins game in like 10 years, and honestly right now, i almost dont even feel remorsefull, and alot of this is because of the refs shitty performance.

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
After last night something really needs to be done. That was ridiculous. The games are going well over 3 hours. I turned the game off and watched Rocky 3.

I hope that I am not the only one. I think that all Warpathers who are disgusted with the referee situation should send letters of polite outrage.

Thanks for providing that. I think I'm going to take my lunch break to hand write a short letter to The Rog.

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet
i wish enough people felt the same way, this strongly, and had the balls to stage a week of NFL blackout... plummet tv ratings, ppl pay too much for tickets to not go to a game but.... tv is another story.... wishful thinking.
