I'm at the point where I can't watch any sitcom that still has the canned studio audience laughter (except for Seinfeld reruns) because I find it so annoying. My friends told me that How I Met Your Mother was really funny but I couldn't make it 2 minutes before I had to change the channel. It's pathetic on my part, I know.

Two and a Half Men is great but I think they had to stopped recording news shows because one of the brothers is in that school for celebrety drunks. I was just wondering what shows don't have the fake laughing?

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office, 30 Rock, Parks & Recreation, and Community. I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones that I like.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
watched the new sow "food wars" the other night. pretty cool. i like how they have teh judges set up.
1 judge is a fan of restaurant A, 1 judge is a fan of rest B, 1 judge is a neutral food critic, 1 judge is supposed to be a man's man from the community (former hockey player, firefighter), then 1 judge is a beauty contestant for that city/type of food. i liked it.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Watched the season premier of The Pacific tonight. Incredible. Band of Brothers was one of my favorite pieces of television ever. This is following it up for sure.
Also looking forward to the premier of Justified on FX this week.

Is it that different than Band of Brothers?

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
From everything that I've heard it will be different from BoB in that instead of focusing on a big group of soldiers The Pacific is going to primarily focus on the individual stories of three Marines. Two of the guys wrote books about their experiences and the third's story is very well documented. I think it will also focus a bit more on life back in the US during the war.
