I agree with you Matty, but the difference is that Sean was respected around the league and he was the star of this organiztion, though Henry is still a person and didn't deserve to die, his lost will be missed, but i'm thinking mostly in the orgainztion, I don't know if he will get the love around the league like Sean Taylor did..... IMO.

C'mon man, Look up the freakin story first before you accuse me of shit, then we'll talk.
Just because you've read what the media has out, does not mean you have the full story. I think its much safer to err on the side of caution and not judge based off of a few "facts". I think at this point in time, it is far better to sympathize with the family he has left behind, and leave it at that, rather than passing judgement

Anyway RIP Chris Henry.

For the record I'm not trying to jump to conclusions. I definitely will pray for his family and his 3 kids because they will never see their father.

RIP Chris Henry

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident

Just because you feel threatened doesn't give you a right to leave someone who just fell out the back of a pickup laying there which is what the news reports make it sound like. I don't know how NC law sees it but here in Cali Chris was in the wrong for being in a pickup bed while the truck was in motion...but still It sounds like he actually laid there for an extended period of time........

I'm not worried about who's at fault here or whatever the drama was surrounding it the fact is Chris is gone and his kids will never have that back.....that 3 year old won't forget this Christmas either this isn't supposed to happen you know what I mean?!?

Does it really matter whose fault it was? She may or may not have done it intentionally but she killed him. So now she gets to explain to her kids why she killed their dad. Depending on the investigation, the kids may have lost both their parents. Just a great situation all around...

Exactly how I feel.

I overheard someone at work today sarcastically say "couldn't have happened to a better guy." I wasn't in the mood to argue so I let it go, but come on man. No one knows exactly what happened yet. But the Bengals are now without a friend and teammate, his parents are without a son, and his 3 young children will never really get to know their father.

It's very sad, and IMO if people want to call him a dipshit, idiot, and all the other stuff that's been said about him here, they should keep it to themselves for now.

Anyone else around here (especially those passing judgment) get into an argument with a spouse or significant other and say or do something stupid in the heat of the moment? I know I have.

I don't know what to say. I feel for everyone connected with the Bengals because we went through this with Sean.

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident

I just saw Ochocinco's comments for the first time. It sounded a lot like what people had to say about Sean:

"My grandma always said you never question the man upstairs on the decisions he makes, because he never makes mistakes. But I don't see how Chris was supposed to go already. Especially when you're on the right path."

Ocho was really upset. I couldn't help but to get choked up a bit. All those feelings I had about Sean came back for a minute. I really feel for the Bengals players and fans, and of course Chris' family.

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident

More news this morning says that she did drive off and leave him after she saw that he had fallen off.

There is also a 911 tape of her calling 911 when he jumped in the truck, but the audio has not been released.

listening to reports from the crime scene investigators, they are roughly 90% sure of what happened. The tire marks in the road indicate clearly that she was deliberatley swerving to try and throw him off, which she succeeded in doing. They also said speed is a factor and he may have had less serious injuries had he fallen off at a slower speed. Apparantley she was going pretty fast..

Looks like just a matter of time before she is charged with manslaughter. It's not 1st degree murder, but at the very least it could be negligent homicide, etc....
