Snyder opened up the press conference with a remembrance of Henry.

I'm sure this really hits home with him considering what we went through with ST not long ago. |

After ST died, a lot of people said it was his fault and that he brought the death on himself. It's BS that some people are quickly assuming blame instead of having respect in a man's death. |

Another life was lost too early, lets respect that and not point fingers about fault.
RIP Chris Henry

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
This feels a lot like Sean's death. He was seemingly turning his life around. He was away from the team due to injury. The one difference that Vallin21 points out is that Henry made a horrible decision by jumping into the back of that truck, while Sean died defending his family. Regardless of the circumstances, both deaths were senseless, and my prayers are with the families. RIP CH.

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
If it hadn't been for the Sean Taylor situation I probably would have reacted a lot differently to the news. However after seeing people jump to conclusions after the Sean Taylor murder I think it's safe to say that I now know better. Wish I could have learned it a different way though.
Anyway RIP Chris Henry.

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
Amazing how different the reactions are when S.T. dies and when Chris Henry dies. Both were similar in that they were turning their lives around and both had a bad perception of what they were all about. And both were injured at the time hence why they weren't around the team at the T.O.D.
For me I just want to say R.I.P. Chris Henry. I do believe that he was turning his life around and making the most of his second chance with the Bengals. He was taken too soon. His family and fiancee will miss a was soon to be husband and a father and his teammates will miss a friend and a great player too. |
