I see 3 areas on the team where we will see a complete overhaul, Linebackers and Wide Receivers. TE as well. From those 3 position groups I’d say only Logan Thomas, Cole Holcomb and Terry are coming back. It’s gonna be like 10 new guys total between those 3 position groups.
Wrong!! Cam Sims can play, yeah he dropped a few passes, AGG, Harmon will be back. You just don’t give up on a 4th rounder who was hurt on a covid year and had no camp.

Re: Bucs Postgame

Sweat and Young were less dominant because of who they faced. Brady gets the ball out fast, and Tristan Wirfs in particular is tremendous.

The WR weapons gave us trouble, but the guy that really killed us was Cameron Brate, the #2 TE who is very athletic and took advantage of the matchups against our LBs. We have to get a more athletic LB in there with some size. Round 2 pick should be considered there.

Chase in particular will be better next season. He needs to refine his approach to beat the best Ts in the NFL.

Our offensive line was terrific in pass blocking given the opponent. Cornelius Lucas is an asset as a swing T but I hope either Charles or an acquisition this offseason can make us better there. We need a road grater in there to help the running game.

And let’s go get Watson. We saw how the mobility can help last night. Now we just need mobility and durability. Punch, you are absolutely bananas if you think Heinicke can hold up over a season. He’s far too small.

This!! Not a Ryan fan, plus he’s on the downside.

I agree they got away with some penalties, but the Tampa tackles are both very good and showed it last night. With this season and a camp under his belt, Young will get better, but he has to learn some stuff about beating guys like these to get to the next level. I expect him to make the kind of step Sweat made already, and between them be very dangerous to play against from here on out.

Watson is a far better option here but would the Texans allow him to walk? Would he even consider the 'Skins? Could we afford him? A man can dream though right?

Also is the theory that the commish is paying the refs to fuck us over?

It’s not against us it’s more of Brady and the Bucs. Come on we all know ratings matter . It wasn’t rigged but they got the calls

Re: Bucs Postgame

Heinicke had a 92 Overall grade last night... 92!!! That is the highest grade for a WFT QB in 14 years.

Tom had a 90.8 so even better than the GOAT himself..

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, so I don't believe the league is paying off refs to be biased, I just think there's a certain awe players like Brady or certain coaches carry that can affect their thinking. Having a coach in your ear all night will have an effect if you aren't the mentally strongest of individuals. Whether it leads to a conscious bias? Nah, it's just human error with maybe some influence. I just think in particular last night it wasn't a good crew, or they had a bad day at the office.

True, but we are talking about depth at best. We need a starter opposite Terry and I think now we need a better option in the slot. Just my feeling

AGG might be it, he needs a full camp. I just don’t want throwing money at free agents when we need to sign our own Scherff, Allen, have to also look into the future, Payne, Settle, etc.

Re: Bucs Postgame

No wonder they couldn't run the ball. The O line came up small in the biggest game of the year.

#6 ranking? Pffff...

And people were talking shit about Scherff, it’s obvious who our best OL is.

Re: Bucs Postgame

Yes BS is a bad ass and needs to be kept.

Also guys, the Bucs DL is outstanding vs the run , they were top 10 all season in that category.

Didn't help Gibson was clearly hurt
