re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
The expansion pack for Dragon Age drops this week, it's out now. I'll definitely download that. I'm a sucker for RPGs.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has sucked out loud. Horrible game. I usually don't regret purchases, but man, for the multiplayer this is horrible. It's 100% run n' gun.
Picking up God of War III tonight, hopefully have better luck with that one.

I have been playing the Batman game for a bit and I must say it is fun but I just feel like batman is too slow. the controls are awkward.
I am just buying time until this comes out! Red Dead Redemption - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I bought God of War III last week and beat it in 4 days. And I don't mean 4 days of doing nothing but playing the game, I played about 2 hours a day for the first 3 days and then maybe 4-5 hours the last day since I knew I was close to beating it.
It was fun and the graphics were amazing, but just like with Bioshock 2 the game was just way too easy and short. I really need to just start using Gamefly.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I have been playing this game called Operation Flashpoint, it is not really that new but it is the most realistic Combat simulation game I have played. It has huge maps containing contaminated areas which make it almost impossible to sneak up on people...you are not just going to play Rambo and run around killing everybody. You have to low crawl; you have use cover and concealment and you have to play as if your life depended on it. If you get shot in the left arm...you lose use of your left arm. If you get shot in the leg...you lose use of your leg...you get shot in the head... (Insert witty rhythmic phrase here). It has many more features that I just don't have time to list. This is hands down the best first person shooter out there from a realism standpoint. It makes COD look like an arcade game that you give your son 75 cents to go play at the mall.
