Been listening to a lot of 70s lately...probably the most diverse and creative decade of music.
T. Rex, Television, Modern Lovers, Neil Young, solo David Gilmore and the Rolling Stones have been in heavy rotation. Right now I cant stop listening to King Crimson's album "Red". Robert Fripp is just a master.

Reaching back again today and listening to the album "Facelift" by Alice in Chains. Basically a stripped-down, no frills hard rock album with some metal riffs and a touch of psychedelic styles.

I grew up in the suburbs of NY and listen to WNEW when FM radio was first forming and was lucky enough to list to a DJ named Alison Steele the Night Byrd.She played this all the time!
