Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Iron Man 2 rocked! Compared to the first one, it was pretty much on par from start to finish. The movie had a couple scenes I might have preferred to be trimmed down a bit, but overall very awesome way to begin the summer for movies. A couple side notes, Sam Rockwell looked like he had dipped his hands in tanning solution before filming some of his scenes, Scarlett Johannson=super hot in this movie, the action scenes were very tight especially the final one, and for any other comic book fan out there make sure to stay through the credits.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Saw Iron Man 2 last night, I would rate it a B+, I did like the first one a bit better, and my 10 y.o. girl fell asleep, so I don't quite know what that means. It was the 7pm show, so she clearly lost interest. I wouldn't knock the film for anything, and Paltrow and Scarlet Johanson, they looked great in every shot (they were clothed in every shot, so it wasn't anything blatant, just beautiful ladies). The plot and the action both were really good. With all that said, there was something missing. The film didn't draw me in like the first one, and I could look away and come back and feel like I hadn't missed much if anything.
Finally, man those credits seemed forever with a sleepy girl and 2 young boys, but they finally ended, and the last tidbit was there to see. All in all good movie. |

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
It is a great re-watch. The best scene for me is when they are in the restaurant going over the m&m theory.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Just saw A-Team last night and as a fan of the show I really enjoyed it. Completely over the top action, surprisingly funny, and the main four roles were cast perfectly.
