Re: Let's try this "Win and in" again. Eagles Pregame 2.0
Another thought occurred to me, though surely not original.
I am SOOO glad that the Giants/Cowboys game has zero bearing on the WFT playoff chances. I want to see if RR can motivate this team for themselves, 1 week - 1 game - it is his team's prize to take, no other team affects the outcome of this game. Not even Philly. If the WFT plays solid football they win this game easy. But it is on each of the players to come out and focus on their role. That's what RR has to do this week, keep the team focused and with the goal in their hands. |

We need Sweat and Young to be absolutely finger lickin good y’all. If we give Hurts time I fear for our playoff lives. We have to throw the house at him early and often.

Sometimes an ice cold PBR hits just right. And really all that generic domestic/import lager swill is basically the same.

Id add Cam Sims to the list. UDFA only signed a 2 year deal in 2018. Good job by his agent in targeting us bc we gave him one of the best chances to get snaps. Now there is some film on him and I imagine he will get a second contract somewhere.
Ideally he wouldnt be in our top 3 WR next year but hes young, Id trust to step into a starter role if needed bc of injury and should be relatively cheap (hopefully). |

What is Alex Smith's favorite beer? Might need to have 2 selections on hand Sunday!

Re: Let's try this "Win and in" again. Eagles Pregame 2.0
Agree on both the last 2 posts, but I'd say Allen isn't worth chasing if he gets a better offer (unlikely). He's always going to be a number 2 at best.
I'd try hard to get Darby, Scherff and maybe Roullier back, and I would try with Sundberg, but a good long snapper isn't too hard to come by so not worth breaking the bank. Not averse to resigning RK for the right price, but he could start elsewhere for a couple of years, so if he wants to go for better money then that's a fair outcome. Got to think RR will be able to carry some loyalty in negotiations after this season, so maybe we get a little discount with some players? |
