The are very pro free speech. They recently ran a "atheist ad" and do controversial ads.

Also the reason why we decided on the bus ads was due to billboards being outrageously expensive in the DC area (25-40k). Flying a plan with a banner is several thousand only last one day, one time. Put adds on trucks is several hounded a day and is only on 1 truck. Basically the cost of 10 buses for 4 weeks was by far the most "economical" thing to do.

$453! Over 5%

Keep it coming!
If it said hire a real Gm i'd donate but i don't really have a hate for Snyder like many other redskin fans.

You know what's funny is if this site had been around 15 years ago, Dan Snyder is probably a fan posting on this site demanding changes be made to the franchise he grew up loving.

I can see it now. Snyder, with the user name Sonny's Belt Buckle, starts a new thread "Castrate Casserly and Nullify Norv"

"Guys I'm renting ads on the sides of phone booths to demand that changes our made to our team. I grew up following this team and I'm tired of the poor playcalling, inane draft picks...ah fuck it I'm just going to buy the team myself"

For as stupid of an idea everyone claims it to be, currently he has raised 463 dollars in one day. That's more money that most of us make a in day.

Sounds like it is working.

Thanks. And dog fighting it NOT an interest of mine. I put that up a couple years ago when people where making terrible comments about Vick (some rightfully deserved). Thanks for pointing it out... taking it down.

$463!

Money will be returned within 30 days (minus PayPal fees, if any). If it fails we will encourage everyone to donate the money to charity when we send it back.

HHHMMM. Snyder lives in Potomac and travels to Ashburn during the week. On the weekend for home games he travels to FEDEX in Landover. None of those trips requires him to go through DC. If he does see the banner it will be on the news. After all of the negative publicity that he has already gotten from the media, I doubt that this will be the straw that breaks the cammel's back. Hey, at least it might get you on the 10 o'clock news.

#1 I don't think anybody is "mad", I just think it's silly.

#2 isn't that what this board is all about in the first place, a bunch of armchair QBs talking football and what we think should or shouldn't be done when it comes to the team??

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads

Well who knows maybe they will be successful. DS will feel hated here, rent a truck, come to ashburn in the middle of the night and head over to the west coast.

Seriously, what good does alienating the only man who can make the changes that need to be made do to the cause of bettering the Skins. One of my problems with this, is its a good example of a knee jerk reaction that will have many unintended consequences if successful.

Suppose it does get traction. And the media bashes Snyder even more (if that is even possible). What is the end game? Snyder isn't selling the Skins, ever. but he can move them or do other things which just don't have positive results for "our" Skins.

I think he's well aware nobody is happy right now. He doesn't need a billboard to tell him that.
Also I believe that his plan of action is probably decided upon for the most part.
