Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
7-2, and it's starting to feel real. I was hoping for a blowout, but since the Giants have basically owned us over the last several years, getting the sweep in whatever fashion, is still pretty satisfying.
Past the halfway point and we're in the mix for #1 team in the NFC. It will be a bit of a surprise if they don't at least try to make a move or two before the trade deadline. |

Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
I would love to add a wr and a db. Not anything to alter the future through giving up too much but upgrades.

Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
While Fowler has been a good pick up, the secondary needs help not just at CB, but also pass rush. We need to try to find someone that contributes off the edge.

Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
Any Washington victory at Meadowlands is highly appreciated and enjoyed considered we don't play well there often. Giants really needed this game, and Washington did not give it them. Will take it any day of the week. Not perfect but a lot to build on. Jayden played decent and protected the ball.

Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
Saints losing increasing the chances of a deal for Lattimore? That would be great.
Saints loss was pathetic. How 200 more yards of offense than the Panthers and won the turnover battle. Their coach is toast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
Still waiting for the day we make Danny Jones look as terrible as the rest of the NFL makes him look. For now I'll just take the win.
Thanks for being classy G1. On a side note, I was waiting for today because I still vividly remember starting 6-2 with Jim Zorn in 2008 and thinking we might have turned a corner. I think he went 6-18 as a HC after that. This time feels much different. Onward and upward and looking forward to hopefully breaking the 11 win barrier for the first time in 30+ years. Thanks for giving me hope again Harris/Peters/Quinn.

Re: Commanders vs. Giants GameDay Thread
Still shocked this team is now 7-2. Peters with some of these pickups has been spot on. Forgot that C Rod was still in the team. Glad they kept him around, the kid can run between the tackles.
Just really a good solid team win. Love that Kingsberry is committed to the run and not asking JD to drop back 40+ times. He is really solid OC.Just night and day above EB. |

A REAL gm who is talented and hungry. A star franchise qb. A leader of a head coach who has experience and been to a Super Bowl. An innovative, solid oc and dc. We also got the new owner in Harris the year prior. Still pinching myself about all of this as a lifelong fan. Honestly, didn't know if I'd ever see it. |
