Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I gotta chuckle 🤭.. All the noise about its 100% done deal Johnson to Washington .. yea ok ! It's gonna be the same with the QB in draft .. until it happens it ain't official ! I think this team is making a big mistake by not looking into Vrabel , but at this point I hope they get there guy BUT don't be surprised if Quinn is our coach ..This team needs a strong Leader at the top a no nonsense Head guy who gets the players ready to go ! The fact that Ben is staying with Lions tells me HE himself does not think he is ready to be a HC ..and for what it's worth I also thought Johnson was coming here .. but if he wants to stay with Campbell and his coaching style then so be it but if I'm Johnson I'm mad as hell at the stupid going for it on 4th instead of taking points on FG .. if he is ok with that then I don't want him here anyway .. Dan cost them with those Decisions!

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
That would be true if Snyder was still the owner. He is not and it would be a completely different situation if Quinn is hired.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Also, way to sort of give all future teams that interview him the finger:
@NickiJhabvala Ben Johnson informed the Commanders and Seahawks today. The reason, I’m told: He wants to win a Super Bowl.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Great decision by Johnson. He has a legit shot at making a run at the Super Bowl next year, can’t pass that up.
Next best option: Macdonald as HC and get Mark Brunell (qb coach) from Detroit to be our OC. |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Bummer - thought Johnson would be good although my first choice was Macdonald. Hope they land him. Not as interested in Quinn although I’ll keep an open mind. I trust Peters to get it right.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Honestly feels like he is gonna regret it, not just the Commanders job but a number of good jobs open this year, you have to take the opportunity when it presents itself and your stock is at an all time high. He is never going to get a market busting deal as a first time head coach so he may have to settle for a less than great situation a year or two from now.

And he can dial up two bombs to Santana every season. Still one of my favorite games. I like this idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Quinn just looks like a miserable human to work for.
He always looks like he is timing your shits. |

MacDonald and Brian Fleury (49ers TE coach, ready to be OC). Fleury is from Germantown, MD (Towson grad, Seneca Valley HS)
