They have been sucking since the trades went down. Love getting Benintendi and Effross. Hated the Montgomery trade. Horrible so far. Braves did what they absolutely had to do the 1st 2 games.

With Scherzer and deGrom next, gonna be tough to get 1 more win, let alone 2. Need to get at least 1 more to have decent odds to possibly win the division.

Man, if Scherzer and deGrom are healthy come playoff time, good luck trying to win that series.

Mike Soroka injury update: Braves righty strikes out eight in first minor-league rehab start

Soroka, the 2019 NL Rookie of the Year runner-up to Pete Alonso, threw 174 2/3 innings with a 2.68 ERA that season. That was the year MLB set all sorts of home run records and Soroka, with his heavy sinker, led qualified pitchers with a 0.72 HR/9. He has a career 2.86 ERA in 37 starts and 214 innings spanning 2018-20.
