Hiring Quinn is like when you were a kid picking out the ultimate Halloween costume getting with all your friends to go trick or treat and you get a lump of coal ( just like Charlie Brown) .. I just hope this does not happen !

Why wouldn't they have a similar plan for the defense?

Also, I don't see why Quinn would be having a third interview unless the deal is 90% done.

Because there is no way Dallas lets him leave for a lateral move, unless Jerry does something crazy.

People need to trust this decision making group, when it comes to HC selection, QB selection.

The constant variable that f*cked everything up, which was Dan Snyder, is gone. He's not picking up the HC or the QB.

There's always a risk that something doesn't work out, but grown ups who know what they are doing are making the decisions. And I think we need to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread

Ben Standing screwed up on his reporting, meant to say second, not third. Sigh of relief.

Update: Quinn's in-person meeting for this week was rescheduled to next week. Source in the know confirmed an erroneous report that suggested a 3rd meeting next week, which I then shared here. 2nd meeting -- 1st in person - next week, should it occur. Apologies for that.

Then his defense allowed Brady to pass for like 500+ yards. I don't want him.
No . . . Atlanta lost that super bowl because of Kyle Shanahan . . . He went ultra conservative after getting a big lead instead of continuing to do what got them the big lead. Shanahan called the plays, not Quinn!!

Too soon to get worked up over Quinn. They would have hired him already if he was the guy.

Trust is earned. Our new GM may have had a hand in picking Trey Lance. I'm glad he's here but like every GM he will have horrible misses.

Than he also had a hand in drafting Purdy and drafting such a good team that a horrible miss hardly left a mark.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread

Everyone's going to miss, sometimes badly. The overall body of work is what matters. We haven't sniffed a Conference Championship game in decades. The teams AP's been involved with have - and then some. There's nowhere to go, but up.
