According to Joel Corry (never heard of him): Claiming Dwayne Haskins through waivers would put that team on the hook for his fully guaranteed 2021 ($1,805,602) & 2022 base salaries ($2,460,903), which total $4,266,505 plus one week's worth of his 2020 salary ($67,665).

Go get Matt Stafford this off season and get him 2 -3 weapons to go along with AG and Terry. Hell I'd even take Matt Ryan.
I don't see Ron drafting a rookie to lead the team unless it would be Trevor Lawrence (No chance that happens)
