Re: Post game Packers
How about those Red Zone problems???
5 Red zone trips, 3 td's 1 FG, 1 kneel down. I like that |

Safe to say that Smith is much better in the RZ than that other guy was. |

Re: Post game Packers
One more random thought: Isn't it about time we started giving props to Chase Roullier? He is becoming one helluva good Center, IMHO.

One play I remember from yesterday was the announcers talking about how RK needed to be released to get Rodgers, and almost on queue, the D tried that. The result was Rodgers throwing a lob to the release back for a first down. |

Re: Post game Packers
This may be a stretch but after film analysis on the Viks game, that may have been the worst game Kirk has had in a long long time. Yikes. Anyway moving on from KC, yes yesterday was much better in the rz, that laser Alex threw to Crowder was sick

I think your point still stands that he has become a valuable piece but it's just funny how wrong you are so often. Kerrigan has been very effective in all three games this year (check the pressures on PFF). Preston Smith definitely needs to step it up though. He has a way of being streaky, hopefully he goes on a hot streak soon.

Yeah I love the new run heavy system! It's old school football and if we can keep it up watch out.

Re: Post game Packers
One aspect about the pass rush...the Dline has been extremely good which allows our secondary to play how they want/how they need meaning....doubling, aggressive zone, and overall team coverage.
So the effect of not needing to bring a lot of folks to get pressure is really helping overall coverage in the secondary. Don't have to play man all over the field which allows for way more risk. Im not about that zero blitz life where its all or nothing... |

Everything is good when we can. But there will be times where we can't, like against Indy. That is when we're going to have to be more balanced. |

Re: Post game Packers
PS is the 2nd option at Edge, he isn't as good as Ryan. Although RK has been off but he played better yesterday.
