Woman, 2 young children stabbed in San Jose

By GiantOne's logic of if even one life is saved is far more appropriate to this case since the person of interest has mental health issues. I am sure that GiantOne will now join with me in the just and righteous call for background checks before purchasing any kitchen utensils with a blade. GiantOne, I will send you the bill for my campaign travels.
It wont matter because when you're just plain scared shitless of firearms like he is you cant apply logic.

While on the subject of guns I have decided to buy me a pump shot gun. What would be a good gun to have around just in case. We are in our new house and the only house on our street. Heard something last night (probably a deer trying to get into my beer) but decided its time.

I would recommend you get a .45 ACP Glock HK or similar because it's easier to defend a shorter barrel from an intruder than a longer, more unwieldy barrel.

Use a Hydrshok hollowpoint round and 'three round' the intruder.

BBC News - Why is violent crime so rare in Iceland?

I think you guys should read this. Gives some good insight about countries with lots of guns, but low crime rates.

I'm sticking to a pump shot gun. Pump it once and most anyone in the house is getting the F out.

I'm confused. Did you not understand the article?

Quote:
First - and arguably foremost - there is virtually no difference among upper, middle and lower classes in Iceland. And with that, tension between economic classes is non-existent, a rare occurrence for any country.

A study of the Icelandic class system done by a University of Missouri master's student found only 1.1% of participants identified themselves as upper class, while 1.5% saw themselves as lower class.

The remaining 97% identified themselves as upper-middle class, lower-middle class, or working class.
This isn't somebody's opinion.

Of course GiantOne didn't, it may change his opinion.
