actually he does, because he has been in the league for over 8 years and 4 years with his own team. he doesn't have a no trade clasue but he can say no to where he wants to be traded under the rules of the collective bargaining agreement.

it's not that because in that option neither player has a choice. In this case Garnett can say where he wants to go just like Kobe. He can say I dont want to go to Boston (which he did) even if they agree to a deal (which they did)

Hopefully the thought of being champs (hell with line up you could have a Dynasty) for a few years would ease the contracts for the mega stars.
Good points I keep forgetting about Songaila. But I would think Minnesota would ask for Arenas and/or Butler

KG already said that the only team he would want to play for is the Suns. And good afternoon SS and everyone else how are you all?

I'm sure that the wiz haven't even presented themselves as options in the mix for KG which makes it so frustrating... because I know if KG saw the make of that team with him on it, he'd be on board in a heartbeat.

I doubt that because you know that minnesota will want Jamison/Arenas in that trade

Absolutely...in general, you have to give up talent, to get talent. Minnesota isn't going to let KG walk for a sack of beans.

Toronto and Philly did it for AI and Vince Carter. But the longer they wait the more his trade value goes down. Plus he will opt out after next year so they need to hurry up and trade him.

That will still give them 1 more year with KG, so they won't give him up for nothing even if they KNOW he will walk next year.

Re: Kobe a Wizard

It's not a Sack o beans. Redskins FO doesn't work 4 d Wizards. They know how 2 not get hosed. Timberwolves has made it known that if KG goes they will be rebuilding and the wiz can help by giving up picks in the trade. Did denver give up melo to get ai... no! Phoniex is not giving amari or nash. it can happen.

I think during the course of this thread, it has shown that you are correct. The Lakers would be stupid to let him walk anyway. He is the best player in the NBA...not smart to lose that.
