Re: Colts-Redskins Postgame Thread
The Gruden era: We fall behind early. We abandon the run. We cannot pass protect very well or consistently so our qb has no time to throw or go through hus progressions. Our opponents defense just has to defend the pass, making it easier for them. Sound familiar?
There is more, the opponents defense can key on the short passing because we cannot give our QB time to throw. We make it so easy for defenses to beat us. |

Kyle Shanny...and McVay...2 young, up and coming HC. We couldn't recognize it and let them walk. In fact, Dan Snyder and Kyle Shanny hated each other, so its that inability as a organization to even operate as a professional organization. |

Re: Colts-Redskins Postgame Thread
Offense was pretty terrible, simple as that. It must be one of worst Oline performance I have ever seen, and our running game was nonexistent. WRs and TEs didn't make plays when they got the chance, even though they got only few chances. I am aware that Alex has tendacy of throwing balls to RBs but, dang when we have little time and 2-3 scores behind, he must at least try throw some deep balls. I was hoping he would just throw ball up and let Doctson fight for it. I am really disappointed how Redskins offense came into the game with no energy.
Defense had terrible start but eventually started to gel later in the game although, pass rush was limited. Little to no pressure from Kerrigan and Smith... Norman didn't play well, he need to do more if he wants to continue earning the money. Not all is bad though, Foster, Swearinger, and Dunbar had good game! We must do much better if we want to win the game against Green Bay. |

No question he has to get it going... meanwhile Galette is sitting out there begging for a job, I'd get him in here on a vet min deal pronto. What's there to lose??

Re: Colts-Redskins Postgame Thread
The D played well enough to win if we only had an average day offensively. Instead it was a disaster.

Re: Colts-Redskins Postgame Thread
Jay's game plan gets me so fucking mad. Last week we run a lot of 2-3 TE sets, pistol, screens, and had the defense stretched out, having them run sideline to sideline...Not vertical.
The Colts run a similar 4-3 look as the Cards....so why not work the same concepts? its baffling how poorly coached this team is sometimes. |

McVay has a true stud at RB, a recent #1 overall draft pick at QB, a dominant DT, to be fair he had some nice pieces to start with. Plus we could not just fire Jay and give the team to McVay. But McVay already proved to be smarter than Gruden. He didn't care about his ego and hired the best DC he could. |

Ok, I didn't even look at this til now. What a TERRIBLE game. How to kick the fan faithfuls in the ass/balls/face and everywhere else.
I will go back to never predicting we will shut down an opponent, and I will never begin another gameday thread. ugh. |
