Re: Stanley Caps

Well this will either be the greatest comeback in Caps history or this tradition continues:

1987: 3-1 series lead blown to Islanders.

1992: 3-1 series lead blown to Pens.

1995: 3-1 series lead blown to Pens

1996: 2-0 series lead blown to Pens

2003: 2-0 series lead blown to Bolts

2009: 2-0 series lead blown to Pens

2010: 3-1 series lead blown to Habs

2013: 2-0 series lead blown to Rangers

2015: 3-1 series lead blown to Rangers

2018: 2-0 series lead blown to Bolts

Re: Stanley Caps

Pulled this off Reddit, seems appropriate.

After taking a 2-game lead in the postseason, the Washington Capitals are 13-43 all time. That’s not a misprint....

Re: Stanley Caps

Game 7...props to the caps pitching a shutout. Feel like there is momentum with the win

Re: Stanley Caps

Yeah talk about a dominate win when they needed it. History tells me not to believe for g7, but you couldn't ask for a better performance in game 6. If they play like that again tomorrow we definitely have a chance.

Re: Stanley Caps

I will believe it when it happens ... and then I will celebrate with the joy that years of pent up frustration can bring.

Re: Stanley Caps

Man...Holtby stepped the f up the last two games. Entire defense just elevated. Very clutch by Holtby.

Re: Stanley Caps

Got nothing but good things to say about Leonsis as owner of the Caps. Zards on the other hand... Grunfield should have been gone 5 years ago, we are wasting Wall and Beal as long as he's around. You can't team build for 15 years when LBJ is in your conference.

Back to the Caps...

I know anything is possible, but it's gonna be a very tough task winning against Vegas. They aren't flashy but they do the little things right which makes them hard to beat. Still we had a decent chance first game until that bogus Reaves crosscheck led to the game winner.

Holtby's save last night was amazing.
