Re: MLB 2014 Season
I just look at the differences in rotations. It is hard to beat a team when Verlander might be your number 3. I did just get cable last year so I am happy I finally get to watch AL playoffs. I hate that a cable network shows those games.

Re: MLB 2014 Season
id feel a lot better about the Os if we were healthy.
the loss of manny was huge. he was hitting somewhere around .330 since the break and is a huge reason we had the no. 1 defense (our D might have slipped from no. 1 since he went down). hundley worries me bc he cant hold runners and runners in scoring position will be at a premium. hope hardy is fully healthy and ready to go |

Re: MLB 2014 Season
What a great way to start the playoffs the crowd was fired up and a walk off win by a team that hasn't been in the post season in almost 30 years. With those two teams pitching and hitting I was surprised by the amount of scoring.

Re: MLB 2014 Season
downtown did not have all the Os banners and stuff that i saw from 2012.
seems like the city was caught a lil off guard ... despite knowing the Os had home field for weeks now ... lil disappointed |

Re: MLB 2014 Season
What a great call by Bobby Dickerson here in the 8th! Big insurance run there!
Edit: Ok at the time it appeared to be a big insurance run in the end it was just the start of a drubbing. The KC-LA game has some great D thus far. Cain is quite the centerfielder but quite raw. Last edited by BaltimoreSkins; 10-02-2014 at 10:37 PM. |

Re: MLB 2014 Season
That was awesome for the Orioles. I'm pullin for them or the royals to go to the worlds series.
Bryce Harper. Good lord son. How do you get the bat through the zone so fast on a 97 mph fast ball, inside? Holy shit

Re: MLB 2014 Season
The O's are the only home team to have won in the divisional series thus far. I hope that trend continues for their series. Can't believe KC is up 2-0. I was expecting them to split in LA with their pitching as good as it is but wow.

Re: MLB 2014 Season
so I was at both, or should I say all three, Nats games this weekend and I have to say that this is the lowest I've ever felt as a sports fan. I know the series/season technically isn't over but I feel like this whole city is so cursed the it doesn't matter. f'ing misery.

Re: MLB 2014 Season
That was definitely a tough pill to swallow. Especially giving up the tying run with two outs in the 9th. I couldn't stay up to follow it on gamecast (I don't have foxsports or even espn for that matter) but when I saw the results on mlb.com this morning I was heart broken for the Nats fans. As you said the city deserves a winner.

Re: MLB 2014 Season
Nats have no one to blame but themselves. Zimmerman shouldn't been pulled and it's ashame you guys gave so much money to shit players your going to limit ur options in the offseason. Team looks done
