He cried after a loss! He’s a bitch! Team leader can’t get emotional! At least he eats manly food. He isn’t one of those pansy ass bitches that doesn’t eat burgers or steaks. Just joking guys. Relax! Williams has been in the spotlight for two years, Heisman winner, and NIL millionaire as a teenager. If the biggest knock on him is his dad is an asshole then the kid did a great job in college, under intense scrutiny. On the field, almost all professionals say he is the best QB prospect by far. Williams will be the first pick in the draft. It’s not 50/50 with this guy. |

^^^^^
Give me Jayden Daniels. Hopefully Bears go Williams No. 1 so it's moot for us.

Last qb we drafted in the first round had a dad who was an asshole too, that didn't work out too well. Hopefully Caleb Williams can focus on football before trying to lock in that endorsement money as soon as he gets drafted.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I wouldn't say I'm all in but pretty much every talent evaluator has CW rated higher than any QB since Andrew Luck. You guys know me, I'm pessimistic and my first thought is he can't be that good.
With that said, we need talent and playmaking ability to get good quickly. If Kirk is your ceiling then keep drafting QBs in the late rounds like Dallas and try to develop them but you will end up with Dallas like results, QB that pads stats in meaningless games but shits the bed in the playoffs like Tony Romo and Rayne Dakota Prescott (I finger blasted a stripper with the same name, I wonder if they are related?). 7 of the 8 teams left in the playoffs have QBs drafted in the first round. Give me a playmaker! |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Doesn't matter what we'd do, if Peters decides the only way to get his guy is to move up to #1, by all means do it. That said, moving up doesn't seem like it would really be his style. We'll have plenty of options at #2.
