Absolutely... although i would say Shanahan would be the "captain" if he has the team president title and final say over personnel. Allen would be his first mate/commander. Shanahan makes all the decisions at a high level and Allen validates (or challenges) those decisions and then ensures they are executed.

Absolutely! Snyder appears to have learned meddling lessons. Now if he can just learn patience, he could be one heck of an owner.

Let's try to not credit Snyder for self-realization until he actually goes an offseason or two without embarrassing himself or his organization. Talking a good game isn't indicative of anything.
