Re: The Workplace
I don't work in the field unfortunately, it's all boring office work. Basically all you need for my job is a phone and a computer. So it makes total sense that they want to move everyone to a home office eventually.

Re: The Workplace
If I began to write in this thread about my office, I miss Memorial Day. Other then great pay, never a minute more then 40 hours a week and it is a mile from my house I would have left years ago, my co-workers drive me that crazy.

Re: The Workplace
Nope, not sure what that is. Some sort of software I'm guessing?

Re: The Workplace
I'm guessing its been a few years sense you have done any auto claims because that system is pretty common today.
After thinking about it I'm very surprised that you don't have some type of program as a guide as to what should be paid to doctors and others providing a service. How do you know when a doctor is charging the correct amount when you get a customers bill? |

Re: The Workplace
Well I worked in no-fault, so we didn't do settlements. Never heard of that program being used on the BI side but it's possible it's being used now.

kinda like how an automaker determines whether they would save more money by recalling defective vehicles and fixing them vs just letting accidents happen then hope your attorneys can limit the settlements. geez workers comp is no picnic. so happy i do mostly auto neg with federal suits and rape cases thrown in there.

Re: The Workplace
Does the system in NY require getting pre approvals and the use of codes for ever procedure done on a patient?
