Those thoughts are the silver lining, not an alternative to winning. Im all in favor of shit canning those two losers. I don’t think we have the personnel to win with or without them honestly. We need a draft and a free agency period run by real football minds to get some more horses here. |

There is only one way to get a fanbase back. Win. Harris isn’t magic. Neither is magic. Lol. They need at least one full off season. The fans will be back eventually. Firing Ron now would feel good and i guess you could promote EB and see how the players respond. I just think there is way more to it than that. At least one full off season worth of fixing. He literally was handed shit on a stick and the season started. |

Yeah, Chase sucks.
Chase Young team rankings from @PFF: Pressures - 1st w/27 (Allen/Sweat 19) Sacks - 2nd w/4 (Sweat 4.5) QB hits - T-2 w/5 (Payne 6, Allen 5) Hurries - 1st w/18 (Allen 11) PRP formula - 1st w/12.6 (Sweat 8.8) Pass Rush Win % - 1st w/22.8 (5th) * Young missed one game https://x.com/benstandig/status/1711...PjVVwlav8ILf0Q

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
There was one play v Chicago that, to me at least, showed his game maturing. If I recall correctly, it was a draw play and he came rushing with outside contain, saw the run play, switched his leverage and shed his block immediately coming down the line and making the tackle. I don't remember anything like that in year one.
To me it's one of the signs he's developing. Will he stay with the team? I couldn't say at this point. But whether he develops into an all pro or not, I don't think he's a bust and I can see him having a career in the NFL. Maybe he's the next Clowney? Right now I just hope he and Sweat scare the living daylights out of Ridder. |

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
He's clearly a solid pass rusher. There have already been so many plays where he applied pressure just could not get the sack. Hope he works out long term but understand it's a business.

With Forrest and Reaves going to IR, it looks like they elevated safety Burgess & linebacker De'Jon "Scoota" Harris from the practice squad. I was really hoping to see Jabril Cox, but there must be something going on there.

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
I think a lot of that is sustained success on defense is so difficult in the NFL. I only see 3 sacks not the 4 listed above but that puts him on pace to be in same ball park as Micah Parsons who a lot of people on here feel is a game changer. We are always more critical of own team. Take solace in we have a very good edge rusher that doesn't sexually assault his younger teammates like Parsons.

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
Watt is the best in the league. Might as well say Josh Allen is no Patrick Mahomes

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
I hear what you are saying and that is a fine expectation with the 2nd overall pick but I will gladly take top ten sack production. Of course I do hope he improves his game.

Really bummed about Reeves. I've always thought when he was actually playing D (and not just special teams) he was very effective, and I was hoping that he was going to get a chance for some more playing time. Sounds like he may be out for the season - -a partial ACL tear is not something to sneeze at.
